Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

ThinkWhy is seeking a charismatic and assertive sales professional to target small, medium, and enterprise-level sales for our AI-driven SaaS solution that is transforming the labor market within HR and TalentTech.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are seeking someone who can:

• Be responsible for a book of business by prospecting new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation activities
• Manage the sales cycle for both inbound and self-generated leads through qualification, product demonstrations, proposals and closing
• Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about the industry and offer unique perspectives on their business pain points
• Attend tradeshows and conferences
• Document all sales activities in company CRM (SFDC)
• Prepare and engage in business development team status meetings
• Engage in industry educational meetings and product development updates
• Meet sales quotas and productivity metrics as set by leadership
• Focus on value-based selling to prospective clients
• Know and demonstrate knowledge, at an in-depth level, of the ThinkWhy products, methodology and industry
• Understand each client’s organization and structure
• Know the client’s business and how they benefit by using our platform
• Understand ThinkWhy’s competitive products, including strengths and weaknesses

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

You’re located in Dallas
You have a bachelor’s Degree
You have a proven track record with sales achievement in SaaS sales
You are excellent at understanding and communicating analytics and data
You are experienced with Salesforce.com or similar CRM technology
You have experience with sales engagement tools (Sales Navigator, High Velocity Sales, ZoomInfo) to build your book of business
